We are responsible for managing the Union’s oil, natural gas and other fluid hydrocarbons sales contracts, produced in production sharing areas and also in locations where Production Individualization Agreements (AIPs) are in force, in the Pre-Salt Polygon.

According to law, the commercialization of the Federal Government’s oil and natural gas can be carried out directly, preferably by auction, or by hiring a business agent.Our intention is to work with both models, choosing the alternative that leads to a better economic result for the Government.The dealing follows the guidelines of Law 13,679, of June 14, 2018, and Resolution 15 of the CNPE, of November 29, 2018, which established the Government’s new oil and natural gas sales policy.

We are currently commercializing oil production from the Mero Development Area (Libra contract), Entorno de Sapinhoá, Búzios, Tupi, Sépia and Atapu and natural gas from Entorno de Sapinhoá, Tartaruga Verde Sudoeste, Búzios and Tupi.Government oil has the following characteristics:
